Durga Prashan Das, presently Vertical Head, at RSB Transmissions (I) ltd., Pune plants (Sanaswadi & Phulgoan Location ) & Pantnagar, joined RSB Group as a Graduate Trainee Engineer with wide exposure over a broad spectrum of technical and managerial experience combined with international exposure, rising up the career path based on untiring efforts on implementation of innovative ideas and productivity improvement measures.
Durga Prashan Das is successfully leading RSB Groups foray into up the value chain segment such as E Axle , E Gear box for the new generation automotive sector. This is based on the vast technological expertise of gear manufacturing sector and application oriented practical exposure into the assembly segment. Leading team of technology experts in wide product portfolio of gears, gear boxes, sleeves and hubs, shafts, machined components, with comprehensive product capabilities in diverse segments such as passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, tractors, construction equipment, textile industry, amongst others.
Leadership has lead to significant growth this year and anticipate it to continue as we add new products, including components for electric vehicles. We have developed gear boxes specifically suitable for E axle. Additionally under development are other parts for electric vehicles to stay current with new technologies.
Also under implementation are Industry 4.0 in order to stay current with technological advancements in product and process technology and innovation. Our adoption of these technologies in combination with our commitment to Total Quality Management (TQM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), has led to improved productivity, cost savings, and in creased competitiveness in the market.
Under the able leadership, our top line has significantly improved 2-fold over the last 2- decades. Based on our Founder member philosophy, strong emphasis is laid on grooming in-house talent for the present and future organizational requirements, at the middle and top management levels, where people are the main key success factor. As the automobile market changes to embrace electric vehicles (EV), there is no chance of we, being left behind. We are already developing reduction gearbox and axle for EV manufacturer; this will contribute to further adding 2-fold increase in top line across our product portfolio.

This complemented by doubling our customer base and diversification into allied sectors, such as textile industry, will certainly contribute to further enhancement and our readiness for future up-coming market requirements.
