Parag Santosh Apte is a senior leader in manufacturing and business excellence with over 22 years of
experience across multi‐unit operations at SKF India. He currently serves as the Head – Business
Excellence and factory business development, where he leads enterprise-wide initiatives in Lean, Six
Sigma, operational stability, TPM, sustainability, and digitalisation—consistently advancing safety,
quality, delivery, cost, and environmental performance.
Parag Apte is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Lean Practitioner. His leadership has
delivered material improvements in productivity, cost optimisation, and export growth, supported by
structured problem-solving and capability building across diverse, unionised, and non‐unionised
workforces. His work has been recognised with multiple national and industry accolades, including
honours from leading forums.
