Mr Ravikant Gajbhiye took charge as the Deputy General Manager of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat
Electronics Limited (BEL) on July 01, 2025.
Mr Ravikant Gajbhiye joined BEL in Sep 2007 as Probationary Engineer after completing his BE
(Electronics and Communication) from SATI Vidisha with honours. In an illustrious career spanning over
two decades, he has made significant contributions to the field of Critical Projects execution and
Business Development.
During his initial years at BEL’s Chennai Unit, Mr Ravikant Gajbhiye played a pivotal role in the
development and execution of Navigation Systems, Naval Fire Control System etc. In 2011, he moved to
BEL’s Pune Unit and was engaged in the business’s development and execution of Defence CBRN
systems and Artillery Ammunitions. He has provided the much-needed vision for this business vertical.
Mr Ravikant Gajbhiye has contributed significantly for Pune Unit multi fold growth i.e. from few hundred
crores turnover to more than thousand crores turnover Unit with ensuring innovation and value
addition, leading to self-reliance. Management Services is an added portfolio where-in monitoring the
achievement of business targets is very critical.
Mr Ravikant Gajbhiye has received various awards like Marketing Excellence award consecutive year
2023-24 & 2024-25. He has delivered many talks to Defence users and DRDO scientists at various
occasions.
